Assignment 3C : 6-Balloon Black Bamboo Box

We are given another assignment 6-balloon black bamboo box regarding to the Youth Jam super merdeka celebration. We will release six balloon one at each time during 11.59.59pm on 30th aug. Therefore, we will make a bamboo box to store our balloon before releasing it. I decided to make an octagon shape-box so, i named it octopee. Below was the progress of making the octopee box.

measure each bamboo stick carefully

mark the length that wanted to cut off

here we go!

we are using wood saw instead of steel saw

roughly shape out the octopee box

started to join all the stick into octagon shape with masking tape

material that need to join the satay stick

joining it with masking tape too

the shape of my octopee was done

rope was being use to tie up the joint between bamboo stick and satay stick

pouring some elephant glue on it to make the joint stronger

recycle paper such as newspaper was used as the cover of the box

rope was tied on two sides of the box

tadaaa~ there was a handle to make it more easy to carry

Its takes me 3 days to complete it! (just like a handbag lol)
